I saw Novi in March of this year, and was overwhelmed by her accuracy and insight. She has an extraordinary gift, as well as tremendous compassion, and I felt quite bonded to her in a very extraordinary way – and yet we had only just met. She has changed my life in so many ways, that she has left an indelible mark in my heart, and I hope to always have her in my life. I’ve read some short story books this past few months in 2014, maybe almost 50 from Indonesian writers. I love reading short story book and that is why I usually will buy if any short story new book publishe. Beside, I also search for old books for my collection and reference. Then I found this book at a book bazaar event. After reading “Lelaki yang Membelah Bulan”, I tell myself, this is the best short story book I’ve ever read so far. I really realy like it and I think Mrs.Novi is really an amazing writer! I actually knew her name after reading some “Cerpen Kompas Pilihan” where I found her writing and I certainly look forward to having her next new book *while dreaming that I can write good short stories and have my own book like her..someday*
